The Profile of Saiful Anwar General Hospital

Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital is a type-A hospital owned by the East Java Province Government, and found based on the Local Government Regulation Number 23 on Organization and Working Management of Hospitals in East Java Province, it was established as the supporting element of provincial government which is in an agency level that conducts health services.

Self-Funded

Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital is a self-funded unit, as regulated in the Local Government Regulation No. 13 year 1995 on the Preparation of Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital to become a self-funded unit by the Minister of Internal Affairs through the Decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs Number 445-35-390 year 1996. However, it had just effectively served as a self-funded hospital since April 1997.

Education Type-A Hospital

Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital is an education type-A general hospital based on the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Health No. 673 / MENKES / SK / VI / 2007. So far, there have been some educational institution, whether they are private or state-owned, which have cooperated with Dr Saiful Anwar General Hospital such as Specialist Training Program or Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis (PPDS), General Practitioners, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Nutrition D IV Program, Nursing Academy, Nutrition Academy, Midwives Training Program of Nursing School, Vocational High School and many more.

Since 2000, Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital Malang had been fully accredited for 12 services, and was preparing 8 more services to follow the accreditation in 2003 in order to be accredited for 20 services.

Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital is a Referral Hospital for C-class Hospitals with scope of area consists of Assistant Governor of East Java in Malang (Malang Regency and Municipality, Pasuruan Regency and Municipality, Probolinggo Regency and Municipality, and Lumajang Regency) plus Blitar Regency and Municipality.
